Job summary

Bowery Meat Company Steak House is seeking an experienced Line Cook/Grill/Boiler Cook to join our team in New York. Compensation is based on experience, with hourly rates from $18 to $24.

We emphasize professional development in food, wine, and service, and offer a supportive environment within the Mercer Street Hospitality group. Applicants must be able to work nights and weekends and possess DOH certification (a plus). Health insurance and 401K options are available.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year of experience as a line cook in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Experience in all meal periods.
• Must be able to work at night and on weekends.
• Fully Covid Vaccinated.

Responsibilities

• Work the line for service.
• Keep a clean and organized workstation.
• Ensure the station is stocked for the shift.
• Maintain all necessary parts and equipment.
• Follow prep sheets, fire sheets, and station sheets.
• Prep and execute food items.
• Uphold company policies and health regulations.
• Maintain safe and sanitary kitchen conditions.
