Job summary

Max Burger, Longmeadow, MA, is seeking a dedicated Line Cook with open availability to join our high-energy team.

Prepare and cook burgers, sandwiches, hand-cut fries, and craft sides, follow recipes and plating standards, and work closely with the kitchen to ensure timely, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Line Cook (1–2 years preferred).
• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen, especially with burgers, sandwiches, or comfort food.
• Ability to work across multiple stations (grill, fry, prep).
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items, including burgers, sandwiches, hand-cut fries, and craft sides, following recipes and specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment at all times.
• Follow recipes and plating standards to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation.
• Assist with daily prep tasks, such as chopping, prepping ingredients, and organizing the kitchen.
• Ensure proper rotation and storage of ingredients to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely, efficient service during peak hours.
