Job summary

Harpoon Restaurant & Taproom in Manchester, NH is seeking a passionate Line Cook to join our opening team. You will prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and guidelines, contributing to a fast-paced, energetic kitchen.

You will set up stations, prep ingredients, cook menu items with attention to quality and presentation, and maintain a clean, organized workspace in a collaborative environment. The role requires reliability, strong communication, and the ability to work well under pressure

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety regulations.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members.
• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
• Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
• Ensure that food is prepared and presented according to standards.
• Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages.
