Job summary

Whiskey Cake Fort Worth, LLC is seeking a Line Cook to prepare and plate menu items according to recipes and timing set by the Chef de Cuisine. You will ensure quality and timely service while maintaining food safety standards.

Responsibilities include reading tickets, maintaining sanitation, following safety regulations, storing products properly, and collaborating with the kitchen team to deliver consistent, flavorful results.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to read and understand tickets as they come through.
• Stand for long periods during shifts.
• Lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute tasks.
• Maintain a current Food Handler’s Certification and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Prepare all food products according to prescribed methods and recipes.
• Follow and maintain outlined cook times for all items.
• Maintain the highest level of food quality obtainable.
• Receive and store products per local health regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen and work environment.
• Follow health and safety regulations and keep certifications current.
• Read and understand tickets, including modifications, to fulfill orders.
