Job summary

Victory Brewing Company is seeking a line cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team. You will prepare ingredients, run a station, and ensure quality builds and timely plating in a collaborative environment.

With a minimum of 2 years’ line cook experience, you’ll thrive under pressure, work well with teammates, and help uphold sanitation and safety standards while delivering high-quality dishes to guests in our taproom setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a prep/line cook.
• Basic understanding of sanitation and workplace safety.
• Ability to work in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Maintain personal hygiene.
• Ability to multitask in high volume environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meal ingredients following a recipe and line builds as directed by the Executive Chef or manager on duty.
• Lead station setup with proper cooking procedures, plating, flavor, temperature, and ticket time.
• Independently prepare all menu items to order, with feedback on line builds and cooking methods.
• Execute meal preparation for quality control, including self‑assessment and Chef evaluation on build accuracy and flavor.
• Oversee post‑shift duties: cleaning, stocking, and checkout procedures, incorporating feedback as needed.
• Label and store food, manage time‑temperature logs per taproom procedures and health code.
• Follow opening and closing duties as outlined in ABV guides.
• Inspect dishes for presentation, accuracy, and quality before sending to expo window.
• Complete assigned prep work as directed by management.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene codes and standards.
• Assist with unloading, inspection, and storage of raw ingredients and supplies.
• Support planning and execution of private events with high-quality service and presentation.
