Green Oaks Country Club, located in Verona, Pennsylvania, managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring Line / Prep Cooks. The club features a beautifully manicured Donald Ross-designed 18-hole, par 71 golf course.

Responsibilities of the Line / Prep Cook include:
  • Operate cooking equipment such as griddles, grills, or deep fryers.
  • Prepare and cook food according to directives; verify the quality and quantity of all orders.
  • Plate prepared foods based on senior chef's guidance.
  • Collaborate with servers to ensure orders are completed accurately and promptly.
  • Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations throughout the kitchen and restaurant.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

The physical demands required to perform this job include:

  • Walking, sitting, standing for long periods, bending, using hands to finger, handle, or feel; talking or hearing; stooping, kneeling, crouching; and having good vision and focus.
  • Lifting up to 25 lbs. regularly; up to 50 lbs. occasionally; overhead lifting; and pushing/pulling lighter objects.

The work environment may include:

  • Indoor conditions that may be warm.
  • Working near grills and fryers.
  • Frequently loud noise levels.
