Role Summary :

Cinemark Line Cooks are central to the restaurant operation, preparing quality food in a fast-paced environment. They ensure food is fresh and tastes great, contributing to a positive movie-going experience. Candidates should be energetic, outgoing, team-oriented, and interested in pursuing culinary careers.

Responsibilities :

The main duties include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing items according to recipes and portion controls
• Following prep lists daily
• Maintaining cleanliness and proper storage of food
• Minimizing food waste and theft
• Collaborating with servers to ensure order accuracy
• Cleaning preparation areas and equipment after use
• Opening or closing workstations as scheduled
• Maintaining professional appearance with proper attire
• Adhering to safety, sanitation, and operational procedures
• Sanitizing high-contact areas regularly
• Using Personal Protective Equipment appropriately
• Monitoring safety issues and reporting concerns
• Performing additional duties as assigned

Requirements :

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Complete basic food handling training and obtain required certifications
• For those working with alcohol, complete Safe Alcohol Service training
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Consistent attendance and a friendly, energetic attitude
• Excellent guest service and communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Follow directions and respond with urgency

Physical and Environmental Requirements :

• Frequent bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Standing, walking, reaching regularly
• Moderate to high noise levels
• Extended standing periods
