We are currently searching for an experienced Line Cook to join our team at FYR - Short North.

Integrated within Hilton Columbus Downtown, FYR - Short North is our signature live fire restaurant.

FYR features a wood-fired grill as its centerpiece, incorporating fire & smoke into most dishes to evoke the traditional ritual of cooking over an open flame tableside.

This is a fantastic opportunity to refine your culinary skills and expand your knowledge in a creative atmosphere, alongside our award-winning team.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous culinary production experience
• Have a self-driven work ethic with attention to detail

What will I be doing?

As a Cook, you will prepare food items according to recipes and standards, ensuring outstanding service and profitability. Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing food according to recipes and quality standards
• Maintaining cleanliness and food sanitation standards
• Managing guest orders efficiently and courteously
• Knowing the menu and food products
• Stocking and maintaining food stations
• Inspecting all food sent from the kitchen
• Following proper food handling and storage procedures
• Preparing requisitions for supplies and food items
