Overview

Prepare food of consistent quality and assist in kitchen functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Prepare food following recipes and standards, checking with servers.
  2. Start pre-prepared food items, avoiding overproduction.
  3. Label and rotate perishables per standards, maintaining proper temperatures.
  4. Check inventory levels, prepare necessary items, and assist in buffet stocking.
  5. Return unused food to storage, covering and dating perishables.
  6. Assist in controlling food costs and waste.
  7. Operate and clean kitchen equipment like fryers, ovens, and mixers.
  8. Follow attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
  9. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Hotel experience preferred.
  • Dexterity to operate food machinery.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs with or without accommodations.
  • Effective communication skills adaptable to different audiences.
Compensation

Not eligible for tips or discretionary bonuses.
