Job summary

The Cheesecake Factory is looking for a motivated Line Cook to join our high-volume kitchen in a fast-paced environment. You will prepare dishes from scratch, follow recipes precisely, and contribute to plate presentation and guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have cooking experience, knowledge of food safety, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth are available in a team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience in a full-service restaurant preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recipes efficiently using various cooking methods and culinary techniques.
• Read & follow recipes with accurate measurements and weights.
• Demonstrate strong knife skills including chopping, dicing, and slicing.
• Ensure order accuracy through mise en place, portioning, and correct temperatures.
• Plate dishes with presentation and garnishing.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and station setup/breakdown, FIFO stocking, cleanliness.
