Job summary

Omega Senior Living Llc is seeking a Cook to prepare meals from the menu plan and assist with meal service. You will maintain cleanliness in production and service areas and support quality dining within budgets.

The role requires following standardized recipes and dietary requirements, maintaining inventory, and ensuring safe food handling. Leadership and teamwork are valued in this kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess high school education or equivalent.
• One to three months related experience or training, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of special diets and sanitation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all food according to the menu in a safe, sanitary manner under supervisor.
• Supports quality food service within prescribed budgets.
• Ensures proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods according to recipes.
• Prepares quality food products according to recipes and menus.
• Fulfills resident special meal requests and dietary requirements.
• Maintains inventory of food and kitchen non-food items.
• Follows sanitation, safety, and cleaning procedures.
• Cleans and maintains kitchen, equipment, dishes, and storage areas.
• Oversees proper food handling to prevent contamination and reduce cost.
• Maintains appearance and order of food service areas and conducts regular inspections.
