Base pay range

$15.00/hr - $19.00/hr

Position Summary

Prepares food that meets or exceeds taste, hospitality, and service standards of the community.

Shift

Shifts vary from 6am-2pm or 11am-7pm. Availability on weekends is required, including rotating weekends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepares food using standardized recipes in a timely manner.
  • Coordinates meal production with serving hours based on food and supplies needed.
  • Monitors food quality, temperature, and taste to meet guidelines.
  • Ensures proper preparation, portioning, and presentation of foods.
  • Maintains cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards.
  • Oversees food storage, checks labels and dates.
  • Completes cleaning duties and documents temperature logs and schedules.
  • Follows all food handling policies and maintains food safety records.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. At least 1 year of related experience, including food prep and therapeutic diets. Culinary training, sanitation, and food handler certificates are preferred.
