Job summary

West Coast Convenience, the parent of Loop Neighborhood Market, is hiring hardworking, customer-focused line cooks for fast-paced locations across California. We offer both full-time and part-time roles with flexible shifts to fit your lifestyle.

As a Line Cook, you will greet guests, take orders, prep food, manage the dining and kitchen areas, and ensure a welcoming, safe environment. Join our team and grow with a culture built on teamwork, communication, and delivering great guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, dependable, and able to work in a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Experience in food service or customer service is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately take orders and operate the POS system
• Prepare and serve food and beverages according to company standards
• Assemble orders for dine-in or takeout
• Maintain clean and organized dining, kitchen, and service areas
• Assist with food prep and cooking tasks

• Support upselling and suggestive selling to enhance the customer experience
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and company procedures

Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications:

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions

Must be friendly, dependable, and able to work in a team environment

Can handle cash transactions and make accurate change

Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift to 30 pounds

Must be able to work in various temperature environments (hot kitchen areas, coolers, etc.)

Maintain a neat and professional appearance

Experience in food service or customer service is a plus, but not required

Employee Incentives:

Employees that are with us for 6 months to 3 years = 0.10 cents off a gallon of fuel

Employees that are with us for 3 years to 5 years = 0.30 cents off a gallon of fuel

Employees that have been with us for 5+ years = 0.40 cents off a gallon of fuel

MAXIMUM 20 GALLONS AND 2 FILL UPS PER WEEK

Additional Info:

Must be 18+ years old to work 1st and 2nd shift

Minimum of 21 years old to work 3rd shift
