Job summary

Atrium Hospitality's Embassy Suites Kansas City is hiring for a part-time Cook role at the Kansas City, MO location. You will prepare ingredients, cook menu items, and maintain a clean workstation across restaurant and banquet operations. Compensation ranges from $17.25 to $18.11 per hour, depending on experience and location.

Qualifications

• Active Food Handler’s Certification (or ability to obtain soon after hire).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Team-focused, energetic attitude with drive to exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items using a variety of techniques and equipment.
• Recreate dishes with consistency and care across restaurant and banquet operations.
• Set up and maintain a clean, well-stocked workstation.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitization, and storage procedures.
• Help minimize food waste and ensure the quality of all ingredients used.
