Dave & Buster's in Irvine is seeking a line cook to create an exceptional culinary experience for our Guests through careful preparation and presentation of our menu. You will ensure safe handling and preparation of all food items to uphold Guest safety at all times.

Responsibilities include cooking to recipe specs, following prep sheets to control costs and waste, maintaining cleanliness, and collaborating with teammates in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Qualifications

Must be friendly and able to smile a lot while working days, nights and/or weekends as required.
Must demonstrate ability to clearly communicate with other team members.

Responsibilities

Delivers an unparalleled Guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun.
Keeps supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters and takes corrective action or suggests alternatives.
Adheres to safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
Safely and correctly operates all kitchen equipment.
Prepares and cooks all food items by recipe and to specification.
Controls costs by following prep sheets to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas.
Assists other Team Members as needed.
