Job summary

Taziki's Café is hiring Kitchen Team Members to prepare fresh Mediterranean-inspired dishes in a fast-paced, friendly setting. You’ll set up stations, stock supplies, handle orders, and help with catering, while learning our recipes and health standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experienced preferred but not required – we will train you.
• Proper knife skills.
• Ability to operate all necessary kitchen equipment.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team as necessary.
• Strong work ethic with passion and urgency.
• Dependable and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Preparing fresh food items daily and accurately.
• Set up and stocking of stations with all necessary supplies.
• Menu and product knowledge.
• Managing orders efficiently.
• Preparing catering orders.
• Proper food handling and storage of food products.
• Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance.
• Maintaining health department standards throughout each shift.
• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen, dish, and prep areas.
• Performing shift-side work to include opening and closing duties.
• Completing all course certifications for Kitchen Team Members in our training platform.
