Layne's Chicken Fingers is seeking a motivated Cook to join our Texas-based team. You will prepare chicken, bread, and fry items using our signature seasoned breading, while also toasting bread and grilling ingredients for iconic club sandwiches.

The role emphasizes a fun, fast-paced environment where teamwork is essential. Candidates should be at least 16 years old, capable of a flexible schedule, and committed to quality food with friendly, reliable service.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate effectively with team and front-of-house staff.
• Willing and able to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to lift and carry 55 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare our chicken, breading it in our seasoned breading and fry to perfection.
• Manning the griddle and toasting bread for club sandwiches.
• Cook according to Layne’s quality standards and recipes.
• Keep the kitchen area clean and organized.
• Assist with prep and support other team members as needed.
