Job summary

Layne’s Chicken Fingers is seeking a Line Cook to prepare our chicken, breading it in our seasoned breading and frying it to perfection in our fryers, while also toasting bread and grilling cheese for club sandwiches. You’ll join a fun, non-corporate team that values great food and great service.

The role emphasizes teamwork, a flexible schedule, and opportunities to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. Must be at least 16 years old and able to lift up to 55 lbs.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to lift and carry 55 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with the front cashier and drive thru on the number of customers present.
• Communicate with other cooks on food status and speed.
• Assist with prep.
• Ensure the kitchen remains immaculate, cleaning as often as possible
• Keep up to pace with orders from both the front and drive thru.
