Job summary

Smashburger is seeking a Cook to join our kitchen team. You will report to the Restaurant General Manager and be responsible for preparing burgers and menu items to standard recipes, reading orders accurately, and delivering guest satisfaction in a busy environment.

We welcome motivated individuals 16+ with good reliability to train on our methods, safety standards, and food handling; uniforms are provided and meals are complimentary during shifts.

Qualifications

• No formal experience required; completes Smashburger training program.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen and follow recipes.
• Commitment to food safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare guest orders according to standard recipes and portions.
• Read, assemble, and cook food orders to specification.
• Work with teammates on the line and communicate with GSEs and managers.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and equipment; follow safe handling procedures.
• Operate grills and fryers; handle knives and slicing tools safely.
