Job summary

Fudpucker's Beachside Bar & Grill of Destin in Florida seeks an experienced line cook to efficiently prepare all menu items to the restaurant's high standards. You will portion, cook, and plate dishes while maintaining kitchen cleanliness.

The role requires teamwork, adherence to recipes, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends. Prior food preparation experience is preferred, and applicants should be able to communicate effectively with staff and guests.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent desired.
• Prior food preparation experience desired.
• Must be able to communicate and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Must be able to work flexible hours; Monday through Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Insures that all food items are prepared and presented in accordance with Fudpucker's recipes, portions, and quality standards.
• Works harmoniously with all restaurant personnel to insure quick, responsive service to customers including special requests and complaints.
• Attends to the work station as assigned and prepares, inspects, and portions the items as per specifications.
• Checks the quality and freshness of food products. Takes measures to avoid food spoilage and control waste.
• Thoroughly cleans and sanitizes supplies, equipment, assigned work station and surrounding areas prior to the end of each shift.
• Complies with all Fudpucker's policies and procedures as per the Employee Handbook.
• May assist others and perform other appropriate duties and routines as requested by the Kitchen Manager or other management personnel.
