Job summary

M Crowd Restaurant Group is seeking a Cook at Razzoos Round Rock in Round Rock, TX 78665. The role focuses on accurately preparing meat, fish, vegetables, soups, and other hot items, with proper portioning and garnishing to brand standards.

You will help maintain consistent quality, presentation, and flavor across menu items, follow recipes, and ensure a clean, efficient kitchen in a fast-paced environment. Experience is welcome, but willingness to learn is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Some experience in kitchen preparation and cooking preferred, but willingness to learn necessary skills.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Refer to Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned duties.
• Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other equipment.
• Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served.
• Follow all recipes precisely and keep the recipe accessible during preparation.
• Know and comply with standard portion size, cooking method, quality standard, and kitchen rules and procedures.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations for smooth service.
• Portion food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area including equipment and surfaces.
• Prepare items for various cooking methods by portioning, battering, breading, seasoning and marinating.
• Follow proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes.
• Properly handle, store, and rotate all products per company standards.
• Assist in food prep during off-peak periods as needed.
• Close the kitchen by following the closing checklist and help others finish tasks.
• Attend all scheduled meetings and offer improvement suggestions.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth operation as directed by management.
