Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Cook to join our restaurant team at our location in Casa Grande, AZ. You will prepare and present quality food to guests, ensuring consistency with our standards and guest expectations.

You will perform prep and grill tasks, follow plate presentation guides, and maintain safety and cleanliness. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, with flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous food-service experience is a plus.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service.
• Perform prep-cook tasks such as washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients.
• Perform grill-cook tasks and set up stations.
• Complete prep, freezer pull and temperature checklist sheets.
• Practice safe food handling and waste control procedures; follow safety guidelines.
• Maintain equipment per operating standards.
• Prioritize work according to restaurant and guest needs.
• Build strong communication with leaders and co-workers.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
