Job summary

Triple Shift Entertainment is seeking a Cook to join our back-of-house team, embracing the values Spirit, Courage, Respect, Own It, and Excellence. You will follow recipes, prep garnishes, communicate with wait staff, and help keep the kitchen organized while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires 1–2 years of in-house restaurant experience, the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and strong time management and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• One to two years’ experience or training in-house at a similar restaurant or concept will show Excellence
• Courage to demonstrate knowledge of and certification within 180 days in local, state, and federal health, safety, and sanitation laws
• Adherence to Triple Shift Entertainment Knife Handling Policy to show Respect
• Proven experience in a customer service role is an advantage.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions using Spirit

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes precisely, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers.
• Present, garnish and arrange final dishes with Excellence.
• Occasionally serve food.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and handle utensils and dishes.
• Handle and store ingredients and food.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
• Execute opening and closing procedures.
• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients.
• Monitor station inventory levels
• Use Respect when accommodating guests' special requests.
• Understand proper use and maintenance of major kitchen equipment
• Use Spirit to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Take direction and work in a team environment.
• Work calmly and effectively under pressure.
• Own It by using problem solving and organizational skills.
• Stand and exert fast paced mobility for entire shift.
• Transport up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Show Respect to the team with varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Climb, stretch and reach as needed for cleaning.
