Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a cook to prepare orders in a timely manner according to memorized standard recipes and to monitor food production to meet quality standards. The role includes maintaining station cleanliness and inventory to ensure consistent par levels.

Responsibilities include receiving orders, coordinating pick-ups, controlling waste, and upholding safety and sanitation procedures across shifts within our Las Vegas team.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of cook experience.
• Must be able to stand/walk for the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Other physical requirements include reaching, grasping, bending, kneeling, and twisting.

Responsibilities

• Receive and prepare food orders according to memorized standard recipes.
• Coordinate orders for pick-up.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work station and storage areas at all times.
• Control waste by monitoring rotation, storage, and quantity control.
• Maintain inventory of station and order stock to maintain pars.
• Apply established safety and sanitation procedures.
