Job summary

Four Corners, a Chicago-based hospitality group, is seeking a Line Cook to join our team. The role offers a path to expand culinary skills and grow with our expanding concept portfolio, including Federales, now in Nashville.

You will work with a team to execute high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in busy restaurants, a strong knowledge of modern kitchen techniques, and a positive, self-motivated mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience working in busy restaurants.
• Knowledge of modern kitchens, chefs, techniques.

Responsibilities

• Carefully follows standard recipes while preparing assigned items for foodservice.
• Consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling practices.
• Assists other cooks during emergencies or rush periods.
• Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas, to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
• Assists in plating food items for service.
• Cleans assigned workstation areas.
• Ensure food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature by regulating ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Carefully follows instructions and procedures set and communicated by Chef.
