Job summary

Tribute Eatery & Bar in Coralville, IA is hiring Line Cooks to join our kitchen team. We’re looking for dependable people who enjoy working in a busy restaurant kitchen and take pride in preparing quality food.

Our kitchen team supports daily prep, station setup, and cooking menu items during service. We offer PTO, health/dental options, 401(k), and dining discounts. This on-site role requires reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

Prior restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
Ability to work in a busy kitchen and follow recipes.
Strong communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and recipes needed for daily service.
Set up and stock your station with food, supplies, and equipment.
Cook menu items using grills, fryers, sauté stations, broilers, and other kitchen equipment.
Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and established quality standards.
Maintain consistent food preparation throughout service.
Properly label, rotate, store, and handle food.
Keep kitchen stations, equipment, and surrounding work areas clean and organized.
Complete assigned cleaning, stocking, inventory, and food storage tasks
Communicate with kitchen leaders and teammates throughout the shift.
Support prep and line operations based on the needs of the kitchen.
Complete other duties as assigned
