Job summary

Wahlburgers is seeking a Line Cook to ensure smooth kitchen operation by preparing and cooking assigned menu items. You will work at a specific station within a fast-paced kitchen, such as grill, sauté, or fry, and ensure dishes meet quality standards.

The role requires reading recipes, maintaining cleanliness, and collaborating with team members to deliver excellent guest experiences. Weekend rotations and physical vigor are expected.

Qualifications

• Able to read recipes and replicate food production procedures.
• Able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Able to perform basic math functions.

Responsibilities

• Understands culture and creates a positive guest experience.
• Follows policy to accommodate guest allergies/intolerances.
• Sets up stations with utensils and food products for production.
• Prepares raw ingredients per recipes for line and prep use.
• Uses proper portioning techniques and recipe procedures.
• Reads tickets or listens to orders to determine items to prepare.
• Maintains knowledge of kitchen positions (grill, fry, bun & board, assembly, expo).
• Checks and adjusts equipment temperatures to ensure proper cooking and storage.
• Cleans stations and surfaces daily to stay sanitized.
• Assists team members to ensure guest satisfaction.
