Joe’s Pizza & Pasta in Illinois is hiring a Cook to help bring our signature pizzas and Italian classics to life in a fast-paced kitchen.

You’ll work with a supportive team, follow recipes and safety standards, and contribute to consistent portions and timely orders. Training is available for motivated candidates.

Qualifications

• Prior cooking or kitchen experience preferred, but we’ll train motivated candidates
• Passionate about food quality and guest satisfaction
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
• Dependable, hardworking, and a strong communicator
• Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative, supportive environment

Responsibilities

• Preparing pizzas, pastas, and menu items according to Joe’s recipes and quality standards
• Operating grills, ovens, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Following portion, prep, and presentation standards for consistency
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation
• Assisting with food prep, stocking, and rotating inventory as needed
• Working closely with other cooks and the kitchen team to ensure orders are accurate and timely
• Following food safety and health code regulations at all times
