Job summary

Northern Lights Taverna in Duluth, MN is seeking a Line Cook to join our brand-new Greek/Mexican-inspired kitchen. You’ll prepare and cook menu items, follow recipes, and help maintain a fast-paced, high-quality dining room.

You’ll work with a tight-knit team, keep a clean workstation, assist with prep and inventory, and adhere to food safety standards. Free employee meals are provided, and a strong work ethic is valued.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a line cook or similar role.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily kitchen tasks.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and passion for cooking.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with a team.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking menu items to perfection, following recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workstation to ensure efficiency during service.
• Assisting with food prep, inventory management, and ensuring ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
• Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and consistent quality.
