Job summary

Pelican Brewing Company in Tillamook, Oregon, is seeking a Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and plate Pelican menu items, follow Pelican procedures, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while upholding safety standards.

The compensation includes a base wage of $15.55 per hour plus participation in our tip pool; team members often earn around $28.00 per hour with tips. Previous kitchen experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years Back of House experience.
• Valid Food Handlers card.
• Ability to read recipes and operate Kitchen Display Displays.
• Communicates effectively with staff about ticket issues, menu changes or 86’d items during shift.
• Maintains a safe and clean workstation and overall environment.
• Comprised of line procedures, recipes and operations.

Responsibilities

• Take direction and learn Pelican menu items and processes.
• Read recipes and operate Kitchen Display Displays.
• Communicate with staff about ticket issues, menu changes or 86’d items.
• Maintain a safe and clean workstation.
• Learn and perform line procedures, recipes and operations.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist other service personnel as needed.
• Adhere to Pelican customer service standards.
