Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a high-volume kitchen, strong cooking technique knowledge, and a willingness to grow with a vibrant hospitality concept on COhatch Powell’s rooftop. Evening and weekend shifts are common.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen.
• Strong understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen workflows.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Deep understanding of local food trends and hospitality standards.
• ServSafe or equivalent certification preferred.
• Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and seasonal programming.
• Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and plating guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked station throughout service
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours
• Always uphold food safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with prep tasks and contribute to mise en place as needed
• Communicate effectively with BOH and FOH teams to ensure timely and accurate order execution
• Support seasonal menu rollouts and contribute ideas for specials or features
• Help with deliveries, inventory, and making sure we are always service ready
