Gilt Bar is looking for dedicated and experienced Full-Time Line Cooks ($20-$22/hour) to join our team! Experience & Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of cooking experience in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant.
  • Passion for excellence, superior service standards, and a positive attitude.
  • Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift, including frequent bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and stooping.
  • Ability to remain positive and productive in hot or cold work environments.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Set up and stock the station with all necessary supplies, ensuring proper inventory control.
  • Cook and prepare menu items according to the Hogsalt Recipe Index, ensuring quality and timely service.
  • Maintain high communication standards, understand call-backs for menu items, and keep dialogue open and relevant to service.
  • Follow instructions from Sous Chef, Executive Chef, or other leadership.
  • Clean and break down the station at the end of service, adhering to food handling and storage standards.
  • Ensure food safety standards and regulations are always met.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers, leadership, vendors, and guests.
