The line cook will work with the kitchen staff in the daily production, preparation, and presentation of all food for the restaurant in a safe and sanitary work environment. Responsibilities include preparing and cooking food items according to recipes, menus, and supervisor instructions; maintaining and rotating food items to ensure quality; cleaning and inspecting kitchen equipment and work areas; operating food stations; requisitioning supplies; monitoring menus and costs; and maintaining safety standards. Requirements include a High School Diploma/G.E.D. (preferred), at least one year of culinary knowledge, Food Safety certification, sanitation habits, customer service skills, and effective communication. Physical requirements involve frequent movement, lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, climbing stairs, and working in temperature extremes. Physical presence at the job site is essential.
