Works directly with management and staff to ensure guests are taken care of efficiently.

Main Function

Prepares and plates dishes according to the restaurant's menu specifications.

Reports To

General Manager, Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and Front of House Managers.

Job Tasks
  1. Cook breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner according to recipe specifications.
  2. Maintain food preparation and storage areas to meet health and safety standards.
  3. Stock inventory and supplies in preparation for and during shift.
  4. Answer, report, and follow kitchen manager or chef instructions.
  5. Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and timely fashion.
  6. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.
Job Requirements
  1. High school diploma or GED.
  2. Must be 18 years of age or older.
  3. Courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor.
  4. Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods.
  5. Be able to lift 50 pounds.
  6. Reliable transportation.
  7. Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
