Responsibilities include cooking tasks, maintaining safety and sanitation, and supporting kitchen operations. This full-time on-site role offers benefits after 60 days and a paid training program.

Qualifications

• Franchise specific certifications may be required, as well as federal/state/local food handling certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, seasons, and cooks soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other foods according to recipes.
• Adjusts thermostat controls to regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, roasters, and steam kettles.
• Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipes; bakes, roasts, broils, and steams foods.
• Cooks and tests foods by tasting for quality and doneness.
• Ensures items are prepared in a timely manner according to recipes and guest satisfaction.
• Carves meats and portions food on servings, with gravies and sauces as needed.
• Cleans work area, equipment, and kitchen spaces to maintain sanitation.
