The Lake House in Canandaigua, NY is hiring for a Food Production role. You will execute menu setup, follow recipes and par levels, and help keep a clean, organized kitchen while supporting a team-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of experience, a culinary arts degree preferred, and strong communication and customer service skills. Shift flexibility and NYS agricultural knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, time management, organization, and customer service skills.
• One to two years of experience preferred.
• Degree in culinary arts preferred.
• Desire to learn about NYS agricultural products.
• Ability to multitask and work shift work.

Responsibilities

• Execute menu setup by chef, follow recipes and par levels.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station throughout shift.
• Assist in prep jobs for meal periods.
• Demonstrate creativity and teamwork in food production.
• Relays food excess production to Sous Chef.
• Flexible with hours based on business needs.
