Job summary

Sixpoint Brewery is seeking a Line Cook to join our busy kitchen in New York. You will accurately and efficiently handle and prepare food at assigned stations, following recipes and directions from the Executive Chef.

Expect to lead station setup, manage proper cooking procedures, plating, and presentation, and ensure quality from line builds to ticket times. The role demands teamwork, speed, and attention to hygiene.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a prep/line cook preferred.
• Knowledge of basic sanitation and workplace safety.
• Understanding of food handling, preparation, and cooking procedures.
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment and as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask and maintain personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meal ingredients following recipes and line builds as directed.
• Lead station setup focusing on proper cooking procedures, plating, flavor, temperature, and ticket times.
• Prepare all menu items to order and evaluate on build accuracy and flavor.
• Assist with post-shift duties, cleaning, stocking, and checkout procedures.
• Label and store food and maintain time-temperature logs.
• Follow opening and closing duties per ABV guides.
