Job Description

Line Cook (Cocinero) - PURE Taqueria Roswell

Pays $16/ hour to $20/hour

A PURE taqueria Line Cook is responsible for executing all Pure taqueria recipes. The Line Cook must be a team player, helping wherever and whenever needed to ensure that all Guests receive legendary hospitality.

Responsibilities
  • Execute all assignments quickly, efficiently, safely, and according to PURE standards and specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, including tables, shelves, walls, storage areas, cooking, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Understand and consistently comply with standards regarding portion size, cooking methods, and kitchen rules.
  • Work as a team with other positions on the line to execute Guest orders promptly and accurately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or KMOD.
  • Ensure all Guests feel welcome and receive responsive, friendly, and courteous service.
  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times when on the line and visible to guests.
  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth operation of the Kitchen as requested by the Kitchen Manager.
  • Accurately clock in and out according to your schedule.
  • Minimize waste by preparing food items carefully, following recipes and prep lists.
  • Properly carry, stack, store, and clean plates, glassware, and utensils, avoiding breakage and careless disposal.
  • Maintain a clean workplace and address spills immediately.
  • Work as a team with other BOH staff and assist others whenever possible.
  • Contribute to a positive, productive work environment with a professional attitude.
  • Show respect and courtesy to FOH, BOH, and Managers.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 6 months as a line cook.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with Kitchen Team Members and Managers.
  • Physical ability to lift, reach, bend, and work standing for up to 10 hours per day.
  • Ability to safely lift bags, cases, equipment, and food weighing up to 50 pounds.
