Bacon, eggs and more – oh my! Forest Hill Heights Assisted Living and Memory Care is hiring for a skilled and dependable Line Cook and we are hungry for your culinary skills!

No long nights in the kitchen! We are looking for Full time and Part time, hours range from 5:30am-2:00pm and 10:30am-6:30pm!

As a line cook you would be expected to…

  • Assist with the preparation, seasoning and cooking of all salads, soups, fish, meats, vegetables, dessert and all other foods
  • Communicate and work efficiently with other dietary and healthcare staff to ensure accuracy in a fast paced, high stress environment
  • Adhere to all food handling and hygiene practices
  • Accurately estimate quantities of food required and utilize leftovers properly to reduce waste
  • Prepare restaurant quality, nutritionally balanced and attractively served meals, our goal is to provide the best food and service for our residents.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior cooking experience and knowledge of special diets
  • Ability to prepare and cook a variety of foods in large quantities
