Job summary

McMenamins is hiring a part-time Line Cook at our Portland location. Weekend and late-night availability is required. The role involves preparing and presenting a variety of hot and cold dishes, from salads to pizzas, while keeping the kitchen organized and clean. You will work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Obtain and maintain a current food handlers card.
• Previous cooking experience is preferred.
• Flexible and open schedule including days, late nights, weekends, and holidays preferred.
• Enjoy working in a busy customer service-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle every task from opening to closing of the kitchen.
• Prepare and present hot & cold food including salads, sandwiches, pastas, appetizers, pizzas, and weekly specials.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the work area.
• Work well independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
