Job summary

Texas Roadhouse, Inc. is seeking a Broil Cook to join our team in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.

You will focus on seasoning, searing, and cooking steaks to precise temperatures while maintaining safety standards and supporting a collaborative kitchen environment. As part of our team, you’ll follow prep sheets, adhere to sanitation guidelines, and contribute to a culture that rewards performance with growth opportunities and competitive rewards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume restaurant environment.
• Knowledge of cooking steak temperatures and doneness.
• Ability to season, sear, and cook meat to specification.
• Experience with meat seasoning, searing, and grilling techniques.
• Adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and prep sheets.
• Demonstrated teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a high-volume cooking environment.
• Understand cooking steak temperatures to meet orders.
• Season, sear, and cook meat to required doneness.
• Season, sear, and grill meat according to recipes.
