Job summary

Texas Roadhouse in Jacksonville is seeking a Broil Cook to join our high-energy kitchen. You will prepare steaks to precise temperatures, season, sear, and grill meat, and maintain kitchen safety and sanitation standards.

We value teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Roadies are paid weekly and eligible for a comprehensive total rewards package after one year of service, including medical, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, and more.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking in a high-volume restaurant.
• Knowledge of steak temperatures and proper seasoning.
• Commitment to safety, sanitation and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Cook steaks to required temperatures with proper searing and grilling.
• Season, sear and grill meat to spec.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines in daily operations.
• Understand and work with prep sheets and kitchen equipment.
• Exhibit teamwork in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
