Job summary

Texas Roadhouse is seeking a Broil Cook to join our team in Irving, TX. This role involves preparing steaks to precise temperatures, seasoning, searing, and grilling with a focus on high-volume service and food safety.

You will work with a team of Roadies in a fast-paced kitchen, following prep sheets, maintaining equipment, and contributing to a fun, growth-minded culture with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits after the eligibility period.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume restaurant operations.
• Knowledge of steak temperatures and proper cooking levels.
• Experience with meat seasoning, searing, and grilling techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a team in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strict adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a Broil Cook in a high-volume restaurant.
• Prepare steaks to specified temperatures and customer preferences.
• Season, sear, and grill meat to ensure quality and consistency.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards during all prep and cooking stages.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely meals.
• Follow prep sheets and understand equipment usage for efficiency.
