Position Summary:

Responsible for the station's workflow and ensuring meals are prepared and delivered on time by overseeing the cooking process from start to finish. Ensures quality and consistency of all food menu items, demonstrating knowledge of all kitchen areas.

Essential Functions:

  • Anticipate and accommodate guest needs.
  • Handle all allergy and dietary restrictions/modifications.
  • Prepare all foods, hot and cold, working across all kitchen areas.
  • Follow all orders from POS and directions from the expeditor accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the station.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and support staff.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of recipes and execute to company standards.
  • Comply with health and sanitation standards.
  • Set up and close station according to procedures, including stock management and mise en place.
  • Report equipment or furniture damage immediately.
  • Participate in pre-service meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude and support team efforts.

Training Requirements: Tao Group Hospitality in-venue line cook training.

Qualifications: Previous culinary experience preferred, especially in high-volume settings.

Skills & Physical Demands: Ability to communicate effectively, move quickly, lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a noisy, hot environment with varying schedules.

Required: Professional appearance, team collaboration, confidentiality, stress management, and flexibility in working hours.
