Job description

Bad Brother is looking for a line cook to add to our small, tight-knit back of the house team.

The position is four to five days per week, totaling 34 to 40 hours depending on the week and candidate.

Compensation ranges from $16 to $18 per hour, based on experience and skill level. We have a very small kitchen staff and a compact kitchen. This role requires a reliable individual who is passionate about food and eager to learn. Ideally, the candidate can work multiple stations. Our menu changes daily, with rare repetitions. Our goal is to execute our menu with fine dining precision while maintaining a laid-back neighborhood atmosphere. The candidate must stay organized at the pass and possess excellent communication skills. We believe in doing things the right way, including deep cleaning every night. We seek like-minded individuals who take pride in their work, come to work with a 'whatever it takes' attitude, and are willing to collaborate with others.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure excellent product quality.
  • Prepare all food items to order in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with team and management regarding food items and orders.
  • Proper maintenance of all kitchen equipment.
  • Minimize waste of products.
  • Keep work area and tools properly clean.
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to frequently stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach shoulder level.
  • Comfortable working in an environment with exposure to hot temperatures.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
