Job Summary

The Line Cook prepares and plates high-quality meals that meet the chef's exact specifications and works at specific stations in the kitchen, such as grill, sauté, or fryer. They are responsible for assembling ingredients, prepping food, and plating dishes efficiently. Line cooks monitor their station, stock it with necessary supplies, and ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are maintained. They manage multiple orders simultaneously and coordinate with other kitchen staff for timely delivery of dishes. Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications
  • 1+ year experience in a similar role
  • Certificate in culinary arts or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety practices

Work Environment

Primarily indoors in a confined kitchen environment, with possible outdoor work in natural settings. Movement between warm (kitchen) and cold (cool room) locations occurs. Moderate noise levels are typical.
