Job Responsibilities

Line cooks are responsible for food preparation and execution according to the establishment's, chef's, and guests' specifications, including final presentation. They should apply culinary techniques skillfully, including basic knife skills, and demonstrate knowledge of kitchen equipment.

Our Line Cook positions offer both AM and PM shifts at Three Sisters, The Firetower, and Sycamore restaurants.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Food preparation tasks such as vegetable prep, vinaigrettes, salads, stocks, meat fabrication, sauce making, and other techniques.
  • Cleaning work areas during and after shifts.
  • Production of finished dishes during service.
  • Receiving deliveries.
  • Following recipes and directions.
  • Working in a supervised environment.
  • Maintaining a steady work pace with a service orientation.
  • Coordinating production over multiple days.
  • Planning workdays and multitasking.
  • Identifying basic food products.
  • Keeping work stations organized and sanitary.
  • Working effectively in a team.
  • Tasting food for quality assurance.
Additional Requirements

  • Regular and consistent attendance.
  • Ability to work well with team members, managers, and guests.
Qualifications
  • Understanding of proper food handling procedures.
