Job summary

Renaissance Shoals Resort & Spa, part of the PCH Hotels & Resorts portfolio, is seeking a Line Cook for its 360 Grille Kitchen in Florence, Alabama. This on-site, part-time role offers an opportunity to work in a fine-dining setting with a focus on guest experience and culinary excellence.

You will prepare menu items according to recipes, maintain service pace, and follow food safety standards in a high-end environment that overlooks the Tennessee River.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Food safety knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Guest experience: Prepare items per recipe cards and chef directions; plate dishes to ensure consistency.
• Maintain timing and pace during service to ensure guests receive food promptly.
• Monitor and maintain safe temperatures for hot and cold food according to laws and safety regulations.
• Ensure sanitation during meal periods; remove trash, dishes, and clean spills.
• Support kitchen operations as needed, assisting lead cooks and hotel managers.

We're looking for a creative, quality-focused Line Cook to join our 360 Grille Kitchen! Imagine working in a fine dining environment that takes sophistication to new heights—literally! Set high above the Tennessee River, the 360 Grille revolves to offer breathtaking, panoramic views, creating a one-of-a-kind dining experience. From celebrations to intimate dinners, every meal is a memorable occasion here.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest experience: Prepare all items according to recipe cards and directions provided by chefs and plate dishes in alignment with hotel use records to ensure consistency and meet guest expectations.
• Keep Things Running Smoothly: Maintain accurate timing and pace during service to ensure guests receive their food promptly and enjoy a seamless dining experience
• Safe Practices: Monitor and maintain safe temperatures for hot holding and cold holding of food items, by state laws and food safety regulations.
• Ensure Cleanliness & Efficiency: Ensure proper sanitation practices during meal periods, including promptly removing trash, dirty dishes, and equipment, and cleaning up spills.
• Be a Team Player: Bewilling to perform any reasonable task assigned by Lead Cooks, culinary supervisors, or hotel managers to support kitchen operations effectively.
