The Cook positions are essential in executing every ticket with consistency, timeliness, recipe adherence, and quality control to ensure every guest has a memorable meal. As a line cook, you will be executing multiple tickets throughout the shift with focus on preparation, plate presentation, and timeliness.

Once hired, you will be trained in a line cook station (Grill, Sauté, Pantry, Fry) and tested to ensure your capability and knowledge of recipes, procedures, and quality standards. You will be trained on our guest standards and contribute to and excel in a team environment. You will be responsible for following all company standards and guidelines, and performing opening, ongoing, and closing side-work duties.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• 1 year experience as a restaurant cook.
• High school graduate.
• Food handlers Card.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with Guests, management, and co-workers.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques required to prepare menu items.
• Knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation standards.
• Proper use and maintenance of food preparation equipment.
• Ability to understand food orders.

Essential Job Functions

• Complete opening and closing duties.
• Prepare food items for service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of station and areas.
• Cook for scheduled meal periods.
• Follow supervisor’s instructions.
• Report deficiencies to the Chef or Sous Chef.
• Communicate shift activities to management.
