Job summary

Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas is seeking a Line Cook 2 for on-call shifts to join our culinary team. You will work in a high-end hotel kitchen, keeping up with quality, speed and guest expectations while preparing a variety of dishes with local, sustainable ingredients.

The successful candidate will have hotel kitchen experience, strong communication, and the stamina to stand long hours in a fast-paced environment. Compensation starts at $25.74 hourly, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 3 years of high-end restaurant line cook experience preferred.
• Related hotel experience is preferred.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills.
• Able to work single station in the kitchen.

Our Cook position requires strong communication and culinary skills. The desired cook candidate will have hotel cooking experience. Cook should have a professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures.
